Our History

The Law Office of Debra M. Salisbury, P.A. has existed for over 30 years, and was a solo practice until 2015.  Presently, the firm consists of Managing Attorney Debra M. Salisbury, Senior Associate Attorney Brian Gillis and support staff. Our attorneys are licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and limit their practice to Sarasota, Manatee and DeSoto Counties.

Our Practice areas

The firm’s current practice areas include: adoption law, dependency law, temporary custody of minor children by extended family members, and representation in regards to reviews by the Adoption Application Review Committee (AARC).
